This icon is your gateway from anywhere in a course to our comprehensive tutorial. Here you will find the answers to many of your questions.
This is the Educator Explorer icon. By clicking on this, a window will popup containing a navigable course structure, links to your other courses, an advanced Object ID search mechanism, and even an internet search engine area.
This is the Educator Compass icon. Clicking on this icon will bring up a small window that allows you to transport yourself to any area in any course with only one click!
This is the Educator Toolbox. The Educator Toolbox contains miscellaneous tools which make using Educator easier and more efficient. The Educator Toolbox includes the Object ID Link Builder, API Link Builder, the Equation Editor, Calculator, Object ID Diagnostic Tool, a Wireless Educator Emulator, and shortcuts to Content Creation Tools.
This icon is a shortcut to the Educator Calendar. The Calendar allows you to view and schedule Actions and Activities for your class in half hour intervals.
This icon is a gateway to Educator's Advanced Notification Center. In this area you can choose to be paged and/or e-mailed when certain events in your courses occur, and when you would like to be notified about them.
Clicking on this icon will allow you to view the course as a student so that you can see exactly what the student. When you are done looking at the course in the student view, simply click on
to go back to using your course as an instructor.
The Account Security feature allows you to customize the security settings in your account. Password Changes, Session Timeout Settings, and Multiple Login Settings can be found here.
This icon is a portal to the Educator Users Group. In this area, all users of Educator come together to participate in Discussion Boards, share content in the Content Exchange, suggest New Ideas For Educator, and even learn about New Features in Educator.
